Some defining characteristics of the Altered Forme:
- Six legs
- A single pair of large wings
- Black and red stripes only at the neck
- Some black lines circling its back and its legs
- Half-rings touching its neck
- Horns (at the sides of the head) pointing sideways
- Uncovered mouth
- Spikes at the sides of its mouth
- The absence of a vertical shape crossing the "U" at the front of its head
