A Ghost/Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon, #0487 in the National Pokédex.
A large, grey draconic creature with gold half rings circling the back of its neck. Has a gold crown-like object surrounding its head with two large horns pointing sideways, as well as six legs and black wings with red spikes. It is the mascot of Pokémon Platinum.
Alongside Dialga and Palkia, it is a member of the "creation trio." All three were created by Arceus, who banished it to the Distortion World for its violent tendencies. The Griseous Core (Griseous Orb prior to Pokémon Legends: Arceus) allows it to change from its Altered Forme into its Origin Forme.
