star wars: leia princess of alderaan

A young adult novel in the Star Wars series written by Claudia Gray. The story follows Leia as she turns 16 and prepares to participate in the traditional ceremony to declare her intent to one day take Alderaan's throne - while also discovering her parents' growing association with the Rebel Alliance.

A web manga adaptation of the book titled Star Wars: Leia -Oujo no Shiren- began serialization in May 2019. The adaptation is illustrated by Haruichi (Haruichithm) and went on hiatus in December 2019 due to the mangaka's health issues. The web manga will resume publishing in May 2021.
