English official romanization: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (Five Dragons)
The third series and second spin-off of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchises. It focuses on Synchro summoning, which were then the first new type of monster introduced into the card game, as well as Speed Duel, a shortened and fast-paced format of the game.
Set in a far future in New Domino city, where the poor were discriminated and confined within a slum called "Satellite" while also being forbaded from having any Duel Monster deck. The series focus on Fudo Yusei, a talented outlaw duelist from Satellite who were chosen by the Crimson Dragon as one of the five Signers, a group of duelists chosen by five dragon cards destined to be united and fought against future global threats.
