yamaha attitude

A series of bass guitars designed and produced by Yamaha in early 90s. Originally envisioned as a signature model of Billy Sheehan, it later saw multiple production runs in various control layout, pickup and string configurations. Its body and headstock shapes are reminiscent of Yamaha's Pacifica electric guitars which were designed around the same time.

The original Attitude Limited featured a P-style tweeter pickup in the middle of the body and a larger rectangular woofer pickup near the neck joint together with twin output jack for each pickup and scalloped frets, while other models were mostly 4 or 5 string PJ basses.
