vehemoth phosbat
A boss that appears in Pikmin 3. It is a giant moth-like creature with large wings and a gaping whale-like mouth.
The creature resides inside caves where it uses a cloaking ability to hide itself from crew members and upon being approached, the hairs on it's body will glow pink. It will then open its mouth and inhale, creating a vortex which traps crew members and Pikmin to eat.
This is the first airborne boss in the series.
