Sixteenth game of the Touhou series, eleventh in the Windows generation, and fourth spinoff, as well as the third fighting spinoff made in collaboration with Tasogare Frontier. Also known as "Touhou 12.3".
A mysterious giant was found roaming in Gensokyo. In their formal debut to the fighting spinoffs, Kochiya Sanae, Cirno and Hong Meiling seek this giant out to answer questions raised upon them by this entity.
Hisoutensoku also serves as an expansion pack for Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, expanding the roster to 20 playable characters - the most in a Touhou game.
