Born in the Iberian hinterland, Thorns left his hometown in the midst of local religious strife. After leaving, he was invited to join Rhodes Island.
Knowledgeable in pharmacology and frequently experiments with various poisons and toxins, and is also exceptionally skilled in the Iberian swordsmanship technique known as Destreza. His fencing teacher was Aulus.
Easily misunderstood due to his blunt and uncaring demeanor, shrewd, and extremely forgetful regarding his appearance.
