Prolific Toei animator and animation supervisor. Began his work during Dragon Ball Z and continued onto GT, before developing his signature style during his time on One Piece, which he would carry over to Dragon Ball with its revival, gaining wider attention with Super.
As with many other animators, unless specifically noted by the company, staff or himself, most credit his work by identifying the idiosyncratic elements of his style. As an example, in his character designs for Super, often present were thick, arched eyebrows, upturned noses, and rounded ears and faces.
