高田 明美 (たかだ あけみ)
A female manga artist born on March 31, 1955 (ANN states 1952) in Tokyo, Japan. She is a popular anime character designer, noted for her long collaboration with director Mamoru Oshii. She graduated from Tama Art University, after which she worked for Tatsunoko Pro. Her anime character design work includes Kimagure Orange Road and Patlabor.
