taii
A character from the Choujikuu Seiki Orguss mecha anime science fiction TV series from the 80s.
Taii is a Mu human sized sentient robot that was salvaged and reprogrammed by the crew of the Glomar Emaan ship.
Despite his small size he is equipped with concealed missile pods in his chest, capable of destroying much bigger enemy mecha. Taii is also armed with a plasma cannon that he uses as cane.
He was apparently destroyed at the end of the original Orguss series, but is later revealed to have survived and self-repaired himself, ending in another dimension and taking part in the events of Orguss 02 (in modified form) 200 years later. Taii built the advanced Orguss 02 (mecha) from that series.
