sting (sword)
Sting is an Elven dagger wielded as a short-sword by Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit and by Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings. Its Elvish enchantments make it particularly effective against spiders, and its blade glows a bright blue when Orcs draw near.
