space ghost (series)

宇宙怪人ゴースト

Space Ghost is an American Saturday morning superhero cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that aired from 1966 to 1967. In Japan, the cartoon aired on NET (now TV Asahi) in 1967, and would inspire two manga adaptations.

In the 1990s, Cartoon Network began airing Space Ghost Coast to Coast, an adult animated comedy late-night talk show that used the art assets from the original series. It would inspire spin-offs in the form of Cartoon Planet, the Brak Show, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (based on Space Ghost contemporary Birdman), and most famously, Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
