An orbital weapons platform featured in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. The full name is the Strategic Orbital Linear Gun. Originally planned by the Osean Federation to act as a deterrence to Yuktobania, development was refocused to be used against Belka during the Belkan War. After Belka surrendered however, development for the weapon ceased.
During the events of Ace Combat 5, the Grey Men; a group of hard-line Belkan nationalists who orchestrated the war between the Osean Federation and Yuktobania, later completed the SOLG and equipped it with a V2 warhead during the Circum-Pacific War. It is featured in the final mission of the game, where Razgriz Squadron must destroy the core components of the satellite before it crashes into the Osean capital of Oured.
