shun goku satsu

瞬獄殺 阿修羅閃空

Shun Goku Satsu (瞬獄殺) (also known as the Instant Hell Murder or Raging Demon) is Akuma's signature move in the Street Fighter series.

The actual attack of the Shun Goku Satsu is never displayed explicitly onscreen. When performed, the user glides towards the opponent and grabs them. Before anything can be seen, the screen blacks out as the character is relentlessly beaten as showcased by a series of flashes. At the end, the opponent is found on the ground, knocked out as the user stands over the opponent, usually with their back turned to the screen, and the kanji 天 (pronounced: ten) appearing on the user's back and on the background.

In Street Fighter V, the attack was revealed to be a series of progressively faster teleport punched around the opponent's body until it progressively goes fully black screen again. When slowed down, the punches in particular are shown to be targeting vital weak spots located throughout the body, solidifying that the technique utterly destroys the opponent's body.
