rimless eyewear

Eyewear (glasses, monocle or sunglasses) that have no rims around the lenses. Sometimes eyewear will have a thin outline tracing the outside of the lens. Unless the outline is exceptionally thick and distinctly colored, rimless eyewear may still apply to these.
