red vs blue

An animated web series created by RoosterTeeth and its first show. Notable for its use of machinima style where prerecorded voices were dub over videogame footage. Loosely set in the Halo universe, the series follows an ongoing training war exercise between two teams of Spartans, Red Team and Blue Team, while also parodying FPS videogames, military life and Sci-Fi movies.

At the beginning, the series used the Halo engine from the Halo games to animate the show before later seasons switched to Unreal Engine 4. Since its beginning from 2003 and ending in 2024, Red Vs Blue had over 19 seasons, 7 mini-series and one movie.
