pkp pecheneg
The PKP "Pecheneg" (Russian: Печенег) is a Russian machine gun chambered for the 7.62x54mmR round. It superseded the older PK and PKM machine guns in Russian service in 2001.
It can be most easily distinguished from the earlier PKs by its carry handle - the PK and PKM have an L-shaped carry handle protruding above the receiver, while the PKP has an enclosed loop-shaped carry handle sitting flush at the same height as the receiver.
