A curly-haired pink earth pony and one of the six primary characters of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

She was born with straight hair and slightly more subdued colors, but these only return when she is in an exceptionally bad mood. She is very happy most of the time and is determined to make everyone else happy, usually by planning parties and making sweets at the bakery where she is employed. She often performs feats that defy normal logic, like coming onscreen from improbable angles, running or walking on thin air, and using her "Pinkie sense" to predict events in the near future. Her cartoonish and innocent nature contributes greatly to her main flaw: she is not very mature or responsible.

During episodes involving the Elements of Harmony, she represents the Element of Laughter.

Her full name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, it's commonly used to describe her dark persona with straight hair.
