Pindad SS2 is a 5.56×45mm NATO Indonesian assault rifle, manufactured by PT Pindad. Produced since 2005 and entered military service in 2006. SS2 is short for Senapan Serbu 2 (Assault Rifle 2).

The SS2 is an upgrade of the earlier Pindad SS1. Its flash suppressor is based on that of the M16A2, and it has a reciprocating charging handle that can be used for forward assist, with the front sight being based on the AK. The carry handle and detachable rear sights on top of the Picatinny rail can be removed in order to install various optics.
