The female protagonist of Pokémon Sun and Moon. Wears (in official art) a strange red beanie, a floral print tied t-shirt with short sleeves, short green shorts and sneakers. That means she has bare legs. If she wears a bracelet, it's supposed to be a z-ring. She is shown with blue eyes, short, black hair and swept bangs. However, her appearance can be customized.

She has been nicknamed "Chicken-chan" by English-speaking fans since her beanie resembles a rooster's comb. This was before it was revealed that the formation at the top of her beanie was a flower.

Additionally, internal data refers to her as Rana.
