memories of emanon

A manga series illustrated by Tsuruta Kenji, based on a novel of the same name by Kajio Shinji. Memories of Emanon, or Omoide Emanon (おもいでエマノン), tells the story of the eponymous girl Emanon, who holds a three billion year old memory dating back to the moment life first appeared on Earth. She inherits all the memories of her maternal ancestors, including non-human and non-multicellular ones.

After the first manga, sequels were released titled Wandering Emanon (Sasurai Emanon).
