A Japanese illustrator, and character designer, particularly in tokusatsu and anime.
He originally worked for Tsuburaya Productions, as he did most of the character designs for the Ultra Series, mainly in the Heisei era, from Tiga to Mebius.
After stepping down as the main character designer for the Ultra Series, as well as departing from the company, he then did the creature designs for the Battle Spirits franchise, as well as the character designs of the Phantoms from Kamen Rider Wizard.
