A trilogy of theatrical movie follow-ups to the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime, featuring the girls participating in the School Idol Grand Prix, a tournament for solo school idols. Each movie has made a departure from the art style set in the anime prior.
The first part follows Uehara Ayumu, Nakasu Kasumi, Osaka Shizuku, Konoe Kanata, Emma Verde, and Zhong Lanzhu in Okinawa. Its animation and art direction is handled by Kerorira.
The second part features Miyashita Ai, Yuki Setsuna, Asaka Karin, Tennoji Rina, Mifune Shioriko, and Mia Taylor in Osaka.
