Matriarch of the Keiga Family
The extra stage boss of Touhou 17: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, the "Matriarch of the Keiga Family". She is a black winged pegasus girl with black hair, a long ponytail, a horse tail and unrivaled leg strength.
She is the leader of the wolf spirits that can take the protagonist to the Animal Realm, and teamed up with the other organizations in staging a pretend invasion of the surface world in order to recruit the protagonists to aid them in their efforts to overthrow Keiki.
Because she is a "Kurokoma", the flying horse of Shoutoku Taishi, she is sometimes drawn with Toyosatomimi no Miko.
Due to her cowboy hat and boots, and overall appearance and personality, she is often depicted in various cowgirl themed drawings.
In Touhou 19, Zanmu's ending reveals she does not have horse ears under her hat, and sports a pair of normal ears instead.
