A race of plant beings in the Legend of Zelda franchise.
In their first appearance in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, they essentially take the place of the Kokiri, with their own Great Deku Tree. Later appearances would still have them with a deep connection to the environment, and many of them are childlike.
