艦隊これくしょん(アニメ) 「艦これ」いつかあの海で いつかあの海で いつ海
The three anime projects based off the browser game Kantai Collection.
The original anime aired in January 2015 and is loosely based off the first six months of the Pacific War leading up to the Battle of Midway. A follow-up film, KanColle: The Movie, was released in November 2016, and is based off the Guadalcanal Campaign.
The third anime project, Itsuka Ano Umi de (いつかあの海で), was released in November 2022 and is based off the battle of Leyte Gulf up to Operation Ten-gou.
The original 2015 series and 2016 film featured Fubuki as the main character, with the storyline based on her point of view. The 2022 series, however, features Shigure as the main character.
