Godai Yuusuke is a free-spirited, multi-talented man said to possess 1,999 different skills, who, one day, finds an ancient relic which embeds itself into his body and allows him to transform into the fabled warrior Kuuga to fight the Grongi, monsters from an ancient civilization who kill people for sport.
Kuuga has multiple forms - the basic but very weak Growing Form (white), the balanced Mighty Form (red; default), the speed based and staff wielding Dragon Form (blue), the ranged based and gun wielding Pegasus Form (green), and the power based and sword wielding Titan Form (purple), as well as the upgraded, golden trimmed "Rising" forms for the latter four, the Amazing Mighty Form (black), and the most powerful but also the most dangerous, the Ultimate Form (also black), which has two eye colors: black if he loses control of himself or red if he retains his will.
