Objects

• Immersed - When an object is completely under.
• Partially immersed - When an object is at the surface.

People

• Submerged - When a person is completely under.
• Partially submerged - A person standing, sitting or lying in water more than waist deep.
• Wading - A person standing in water less than waist deep.
• Soaking feet - A person sitting near a body of water with up to their lower legs submerged.

Perspective

• Partially underwater shot - When the perspective, i.e. "camera" of the image is partially submerged.
• Underwater - When the entire setting is under.
