glitch censor
Using a glitch in order to censor content. Often appears as garbled, blanked out, blocky pixels over the region being censored or by means of something being programmatically rendered (like an error message) obscuring the view.
It appears in:
- Ueno-san wa Bukiyou especially with the character Kitanaga
- Dennou Coil especially with the character Amasawa Yuuko
- Other series that feature virtual reality or augmented reality.
This is stylistically very different from mosaic censoring, which is an automatic artist's filter.
