A character introduced in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, titled the Ultimate Writing Prodigy (超高校級の「文学少女」).
She has a gloomy and pessimistic personality, making it hard for her to get along with others, though she's obsessively in love with Togami Byakuya. Her alternate personality is the demented serial killer Genocider Shou.
Has long purple or brown hair, purple eyes, and a mole under her mouth. Wears round glasses and a black or purple serafuku consisting of a long-sleeved shirt with a white sailor collar, a red neckerchief, and a long skirt. In her debut appearance, she has twin braids, white socks, and purple loafers.
She later returns as the deuteragonist of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, accompanying protagonist Naegi Komaru. Compared to her initial design, her appearance in this game is noticeably more disheveled. Her skirt, neckerchief, and left sleeve are all torn, and her hair (which is now worn down) is messy. She also has an ahoge, several hairclips, purple thighhighs, and Mary Jane heels.
