Dragon Ball fighting game series, debuting on the PlayStation 2 in 2005. In English, the games were referred to as the Budokai Tenkaichi series, building off of the localized title for the otherwise-unrelated Budokai series of Dragon Ball fighting games (known in Japanese as just the Dragon Ball Z fighting game series). The Dragon Ball Xenoverse games served as spiritual successors to the series (after Burst Limit and the Raging Blast series), until its return in 2024 with Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

Alongside featuring playable recreations of the events of Dragon Ball Z, its movies, GT, and Super, each game features unique playable 'what if' events.
