A large, flightless bird-like enemy from Nintendo’s Super Mario series. It first appeared in Super Mario 3D World (2013) and has since shown up in spin-offs, merchandise, and even as a playable racer in Mario Kart World (2025).

It has a long, featherless neck; bulbous yellow/brown beak; round blue body with a pink spiny shell on its back; fluffy white ruff around its “shoulders”; and signature magenta sunglasses. Its silhouette is deliberately reminiscent of those novelty “drinking bird” toys.
