Code Lyoko is a French animated series created by Thomas Romain and Tania Palumbo.
It features both traditional animation to represent events in the real world and CGI to represent the world of Lyoko. Various Books and comics also exist for the show.
It follows a group of high school students as they combat a hostile A.I. program in the virtual world known as Lyoko.
A live action show was later created, called Code Lyoko Evolution, which took place a year after the animated show. While Live Action replaced the traditional animation, CGI was still used to represent Lyoko.
