Origin: The Xuanxuan Qijing (AKA Gengen Gokyo in Japanese), a classical Chinese collection of go (board game) problems compiled by Yan Defu and Yan Tianzhang around year 1347. Containing 347 problems, plus some spectacular old games, it's one of the most influential problem collections in the history of go.
