ホオズキ ほおずき 鬼灯 酸漿 ほおづき Alkekengi Physalis 鬼燈
A type of flowering plant, named for the resemblance of the papery orange-red husk over its fruit to paper lanterns. It is also known as groundcherry for its small tomato-like fruit.
