cars (movie)
Pixar's seventh film, released in theaters on June 9, 2006. The film is set in an alternate universe where each character is a variety of vehicle, whether car, airplane, or watercraft. The film focuses on a novice racer named "Lightning McQueen" who discovers the lost town of Radiator Springs on his way to the most important race of his life.
Would kickstart a series of films, with Cars 2 in 2011, and Cars 3 in 2017, alongside other media.
