A prairie dog Kemono Friends character from Japari Park's Waterfront Area, who most notably appeared in the first season of the anime, alongside American Beaver. Black-Tailed Prairie Dog is known for her chipper attitude, her proclivity towards digging (and getting stuck in) holes, and most of all for the signature Prairie-style greeting: a kiss on the mouth, evoking one of the ways real-world prairie dogs communicate. This greeting has become a common trope in Kemono Friends fanworks.
