biblically accurate angel
A term from internet vernacular referring to the scary and bizarre representations of the angels.
The term "biblically accurate" may be misleading, as angels appear infrequently throughout several texts in Judaism and Christianity, and many do appear like the popular depiction of angels. This tag refers to the living creatures described in the Book of Ezekiel and various esoterica, which are terrifying to behold, and tend to have extra eyes and multiple wings, among other strange features.
Notable types of angels include:
