A major character that appears in Pokémon X and Y. He was once the king of the Kalos region, but he appears in the story as a lone, incredibly tall wanderer.
3000 years prior to the game's events, he created a machine to revive his Floette, which had died in action during a war that broke out at the time. Overcome by despair, he turned machine into the ultimate weapon that eliminated both sides of the war, bringing it to an end. The after-effects of this weapon granted him and his Pokémon immortality. Knowing that the weapon used the life energy of other Pokémon, the Floette parted ways with him.
He is set to return in Pokémon Legends: Z-A as the owner of Hotel Z, the place in which the protagonist stays at after arriving to Lumiose City.
