A supercar produced by Audi, first released in 2006. Audi has announced that 2023 would be the final model year for the R8, with no current word on a successor.

The R8 has several appearances in popular media, most notably as Tony Stark/Iron Man's personal car throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, and one was used as the vehicle mode for Sideways in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The Audi Le Mans Quattro, the concept car that the R8 is based on, also appeared in Need for Speed: Carbon as the car of Darius, the main antagonist.
