Azur Lane's personification of the Balao-class submarine USS Archerfish (SS-311).
Historically known as the submarine that sank the Japanese carrier Shinano on her maiden voyage. Her commanding officer, CDR J.F. Enright, was unaware of Shinano's existence until after the war due to the extreme secrecy of her construction, and had initially mistaken her for a tanker.
