501st legion
Not to be confused with the 501st Joint Fighter Wing from Strike Witches, or the real life fan-based cosplay organization with the same name from which this fictional legion is derived.
An elite ground infantry unit of the clone army of the Galactic Republic in the Star Wars universe. When Order 66 was initiated and the Galactic Republic fell, the 501st legion remained, joining the Imperial army as a stormtrooper legion, still under the command of Anakin Skywalker. The distinguishing color of the 501st legion is blue.
