The main protagonist of NieR:Automata.
YoRHa No.2 Type B or 2B is a female-model YoRHa android created to battle the machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet on behalf of the surviving humans. 2B is calm and composed, she does not encourage idle chatter on frivolous subjects and is generally reticent towards others. She also has high respect for the chain of command and rarely questions her orders. However, 2B occasionally expresses a notably sardonic wit in the face of certain situations and can even be hot-headed at times.
Her canonical attire includes a two-sided black dress with cleavage and back cutouts and long, juliet feather-trimmed sleeves under which is worn white leotard which shows off her ass. On her legs she wears thighhighs under a pair of high heel thigh boots. On her head typically rests a black hairband on short white hair. Over her eyes is a black blindfold. Occasionally throughout the events of the game her blindfold is removed and is thus sometimes not included by artists. Her eye color is blue, and has a mole under her mouth.
She has an alternate colored appearance in Soulcalibur VI and Final Fantasy XIV known as 2P. In this appearance she has dark skin, black hair, and white clothes. 2B has made appearances in several other games, including Star Ocean: Anamnesis, SINoALICE, Phantasy Star Online 2, among others.
