A mixed-media project originally created by Shimada Fumikane via a series of magazine illustration columns.
The series revolves around an alternate universe World War II scenario, and features various characters based on genderswapped real life ace pilots dubbed "witches", donning a magic-powered gear called striker unit based on combat aircraft of that era.
Tagging
If a character appeared in either the Strike Witches or Brave Witches series, even if they are not a part of the 501st or 502nd Joint Fighter squadrons, then the corresponding Strike Witches or Brave Witches tag should be added.
One caveat to this is...
- If a character from another unit or squadron that appeared in the anime/movie
- Also appears with other members of their unit that did not appear in the anime/movie
- With none of the 501st/502nd members present
... they would not get tagged Strike Witches/Brave Witches.
