Stockings or socks that cover the legs from foot to thigh. They are held up by elastic thighbands, or sometimes a garter belt.

Thighhighs differ from pantyhose in that pantyhose covers the legs from waist to toe. Over-kneehighs are similar to thighhighs but shorter, ending just above the kneecap.
