戦車 MBT 架空戦車

An armored, tracked military vehicle with a single cannon (some tanks may have mounted machine guns or more than one cannon). Its heavy armor protects the crew from enemy fire while the tracks let it traverse difficult terrain or obstacles.

For tagging purposes this tag may also be used on any tank-like vehicle, whether real or fictional. This may include things such as tank destroyers (ex: Sturmgeschutz III), self-propelled artillery (ex: M109 Howitzer), rocket artillery, and the like.

For the container type tank, use the tag: tank (container). Do not confuse with tank top, which refers to a type of shirt.
