Takahashi Shotei (also known as Takahashi Hiroaki) was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is best known for his woodblock prints, which often depicted serene landscapes, nature scenes, and traditional Japanese settings. Shotei was associated with the shin-hanga movement, which sought to revive traditional Japanese woodblock printing techniques while incorporating Western artistic influences. His works are celebrated for their delicate use of color and fine details.
