Sangai Senki character based on the historical figure Sū Shì (Jp. So Shoku; also Sū Dōngpō; 1037–1101), a Chinese scholar-official, poet, and polymath of the Song Dynasty. Along with Li Bai and Du Fu, the real life Sū Shì is one of the most famed poets in the Chinese literary canon.
