Mostly indicates a character is hungry with their stomach growling amplifying it’s emptiness. This can also occur with a case of a stomach ache, diarrhea, or digestion.
Usually represented in Japanese with the sound "guu" (ぐう), and sometimes with wavy lines near the character’s stomach.
